DS Product Eval: The Red Light Co. Command Centre

The Red Light Co. Command Centre is a private business reporting tool operated by The Red Light Co. It uses our existing DS Product Eval Google authorization project to bring Shopify order records, Google Ads performance and Google Merchant Center product diagnostics into an access-controlled Google Sheets dashboard.

This page describes the reporting integration. Access to the dashboard is limited to authorized business users.

What the integration does

  • Updates Shopify order amounts, product quantities, discounts, refunds, shipping and fulfilment status.
  • Reports Google Ads impressions, clicks, advertising spend and attributed conversions, including available Shopping product performance.
  • Reports Merchant Center product approval, review status and issues for free listings and Shopping ads.
  • Calculates estimated contribution using business-supplied costs, configurable VAT treatment and clearly labelled advertising allocations.

Reports refresh on a daily schedule and can also be refreshed manually. The integration reads commerce and advertising information and writes reports to the designated business spreadsheet. It does not place orders, change advertising campaigns or update Merchant Center product listings.

Integration privacy policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This notice applies to the Command Centre reporting integration using DS Product Eval. The Red Light Co., a trading name of Guy Hillary, operates the integration. Our store privacy policy separately explains information collected when shopping on our website.

Information accessed

With an authorized user's permission, the integration accesses Google Ads account identifiers, account currency and time zone, campaign and product identifiers, and daily performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, spend, conversions and conversion value. It also accesses Merchant Center product identifiers, titles, destination statuses and diagnostic issues. It reads the designated Google spreadsheet's product costs and settings and writes reporting tables, calculations and synchronization logs.

Shopify reporting includes order identifiers and dates, product identifiers and names, quantities, prices, discounts, payments, refunds, shipping amounts and order status. Customer names, email addresses, postal addresses and payment-card details are not requested by this integration.

Purpose and use

The information is used to reconcile orders, monitor advertising performance and product eligibility, estimate profitability, and diagnose reporting failures. Google-attributed conversion value is kept separate from actual Shopify revenue. Google account authorization is used to run the reporting functions approved by the account holder.

Storage, access and sharing

Reporting data is stored in the designated Google Sheets workbook and processed using Google Apps Script. Access is controlled by the workbook and script permissions. Credentials are kept outside spreadsheet cells and source code, using Google's authorization facilities and script properties. Operational logs record synchronization status and sanitized error codes.

The integration uses Google and Shopify services to perform these functions. It does not publish the imported business reports, sell Google user data, or transfer it to data brokers or model-training services. Authorized business users can access reports according to the permissions granted by the business owner.

The integration's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention, deletion and revoking access

Imported reporting records remain in the business workbook until the owner deletes them or retires the workbook. There is no automatic retention deadline. The owner can disable the daily trigger and remove the integration's Google access from Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future authorized imports; it does not automatically erase previously imported spreadsheet records. To request access, correction or deletion of information held by this integration, contact support@theredlightco.com.

Terms of use

The Command Centre is provided for authorized use within The Red Light Co. Users must have permission to access the connected accounts and workbook, keep credentials confidential and respect the services' applicable terms. This information page does not provide public access to the dashboard.

Reports depend on source availability, reporting delays and the business's configured assumptions. Supplier costs, allowances, VAT treatment and advertising allocations can affect estimates. Figures should be checked against source records before business decisions or statutory reporting. The integration is a management reporting tool and does not replace accounting records or professional tax advice.

We may update the integration and this notice as its functions change. Material changes to the data accessed or its use will be disclosed and any required authorization obtained before those changes are used.

For questions about the integration or access, contact support@theredlightco.com. Our store terms apply separately to purchases from The Red Light Co.
